Barns Courtney

Barns Courtney is an English singer-songwriter known for a raw, foot-stomping blend of blues, rock and soul influences delivered with an anthemic, radio-friendly edge. Before going solo he fronted the bands SleeperCell and Dive Bella Dive, and after those projects ended he built his solo career from the ground up, breaking through with the singles «Glitter & Gold» and «Fire».

His music is marked by gritty, percussive production and big, hook-driven choruses, drawing comparisons to classic blues-rock while feeling distinctly modern. Following early singles and «The Dull Drums» EP, he released a run of tracks including «Golden Dandelions», «Kicks» and «Champion», culminating in his debut album «The Attractions of Youth» in 2017, a record that showcased his knack for turning personal struggle into stadium-sized hooks.

He continued to expand his sound with the single «“99”» and his second album «404» in 2019, further establishing himself as an artist equally comfortable with intimate storytelling and big, uptempo rock anthems.
