Bad Suns

Bad Suns are an American alternative rock band formed in 2012 in Southern California, built around vocalist Christo Bowman alongside Gavin Bennett on bass and Miles Morris on drums, with Ray Libby an early member on guitar. Bowman grew up on artists like The Cure and Elvis Costello, and that post-punk lineage runs through the band's melodic, jangly guitar sound.

Their debut EP, «Transpose», introduced an angst-ridden but hook-driven style, and singles «Salt» and «Cardiac Arrest» pushed them toward alternative-pop crossover appeal, helped by a 2014 support slot on tour with The 1975. Their debut album, «Language & Perspective», arrived in 2014, followed by a headlining tour with sold-out US dates in 2015. The sophomore record «Disappear Here» continued their run, with later work including «Swimming in the Moonlight», «Violet», «Off She Goes» and «Heartbreaker» showing a continued pull toward bright, hooky alt-rock.

Bad Suns occupy a space between indie rock and radio-friendly alternative pop, known for shimmering guitars, driving rhythms and Bowman's emotive vocal delivery, making them a fixture of 2010s American alt-rock touring circuits.
