Bad Omens

Bad Omens is an American metalcore and alternative rock band formed as a solo project by vocalist Noah Sebastian before growing into a full band by 2015. Based in Virginia, the group signed with Sumerian Records and released their self-titled debut album in 2016, blending aggressive metalcore breakdowns with atmospheric, downtempo textures. Over subsequent albums, the band steadily shifted toward a more melodic, electronic-tinged alternative sound, incorporating pop and hip-hop influences alongside their heavier roots.

Their 2019 record «Finding God Before God Finds Me» broadened their audience with a moodier, more cinematic approach, while 2022's «THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND» became a breakout success, propelled by singles like «Just Pretend» and the title track, which found major traction on streaming platforms and social media. Songs such as «V.A.N», «Dethrone», and «Like a Villain» highlight the band's ability to move fluidly between crushing riffs and hook-driven choruses.

The band has undergone lineup changes over the years, including the departure of original bassist Vincent Riquier due to injury, but Noah Sebastian has remained the group's creative core throughout. Bad Omens is often cited alongside a wave of genre-blurring metalcore acts pushing the sound toward mainstream rock and pop crossover appeal.
