About the artist
Baby Lasagna is the solo project of Marko Purišić, a Croatian singer-songwriter and producer from Umag. Before launching the project, he spent years as a guitarist in the folk-metal band Manntra, competing in Croatia's Dora selection in 2019, and briefly formed a short-lived rock duo called Bastion in 2018. He also worked as a songwriter for other artists, including contributions tied to Mono Inc., before turning fully to his own material in 2023.
His breakthrough came with «Rim Tim Tagi Dim», a rock-pop-electronic hybrid that won Dora 2024 after he was added to the lineup at the last minute, and went on to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest, where it became one of the most talked-about entries of the year. The song's blend of driving rock energy, catchy pop hooks and electronic production set the tone for his debut album «DMNS & MOSQUITOES», which also includes tracks like «Demons & Mosquitoes» and «Stress».
Baby Lasagna's sound sits at the intersection of alternative rock and modern pop-electronic production, marked by anthemic choruses and an emotionally direct songwriting style shaped by his metal and folk-rock background. Songs such as «Catch Me If You Can», «Biggie Boom Boom» and «Good Boy Lasagna» show a range from theatrical rock to more playful, hook-driven pop, making him one of the more distinctive voices to emerge from the Eurovision circuit in recent years.
