АукцЫон (Auktyon) is a Soviet and Russian band formed in Leningrad in 1978, one of the most idiosyncratic groups to emerge from the city's underground rock scene. Founded by Leonid Fyodorov, the band became known for its unpredictable, theatrical live shows, anchored by the eccentric stage presence of Oleg Garkusha, and for a sound that resisted easy categorization within Soviet rock.

Over the decades АукцЫон's music moved fluidly between post-punk, jazz, new wave and absurdist art-rock, often layering saxophone, accordion and unconventional arrangements over Fyodorov's distinctive vocals and guitar work. This restless experimentation set the band apart from more straightforward guitar-rock acts of the Leningrad Rock Club era and gave them a lasting reputation as one of Russian rock's most artistically adventurous outfits.

Key albums include «Вернись в Сорренто» (1988), «В Багдаде всё спокойно» (1989), «Как я стал предателем» (1989), «Птица» (1993) and «Жилец вершин» (1996), alongside later releases such as «Это мама» (2002), «Юла» (2011) and «Мечты» (2020). Songs like «Дорога», «Птица» and «Осколки» remain among their best-known work, and the band has continued releasing music and performing well into the 21st century, maintaining a devoted following built on decades of genre-defying live performance.
