Arlo Guthrie

Arlo Guthrie is an American folk singer-songwriter, the son of legendary folk artist Woody Guthrie. He rose to fame in the late 1960s with «Alice's Restaurant Massacree», a sprawling talking-blues narrative combining satire, storytelling, and anti-war sentiment that became a countercultural touchstone and was later adapted into a film. His performance at the Woodstock festival in 1969 further cemented his place in the folk revival movement.
