Arkells

Arkells are a rock band from Hamilton, Ontario, fronted by singer Max Kerman and rounded out by Mike DeAngelis, Nick Dika, Tim Oxford and Anthony Carone. The band emerged from the Canadian indie scene with their debut album «Jackson Square» in 2008, followed by «Michigan Left» in 2011, both of which established them as a hard-working, community-minded live act closely tied to their hometown.

Their breakthrough came with «High Noon» in 2014, a gold-certified record in Canada that expanded their audience beyond the indie circuit and into wider rock radio, followed by «Morning Report» in 2016. Arkells are known for anthemic, hook-driven songwriting that draws on classic rock and soul influences, paired with energetic, crowd-engaging live shows that have made them a fixture of Canadian festival bills.

The band has won Juno Awards over the course of its career and continued to grow its catalogue with songs like «Leather Jacket», «Knocking At The Door», «My Heart's Always Yours» and «People's Champ», cementing their status as one of the most beloved rock acts to come out of Ontario in the 2010s.
