Anthony Green

Anthony Green is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Circa Survive and a founding member of the post-hardcore act Saosin, which he fronted on their breakthrough early material before departing to focus on Circa Survive. He is recognized for his distinctive high tenor voice and emotionally raw, often stream-of-consciousness lyrical style, which has made him one of the more instantly identifiable vocalists in the 2000s post-hardcore and emo scenes.

Beyond his main bands, Green has been a prolific and restless collaborator, contributing vocals to the rock supergroup The Sound of Animals Fighting and later joining the supergroup L.S. Dunes alongside members of other prominent punk and post-hardcore bands. He has also pursued a long-running solo career, releasing numerous albums under his own name that lean into more intimate, experimental, and acoustic-tinged songwriting compared to his band work.

Across his projects, Green's music moves fluidly between aggressive, layered rock, dreamy alternative textures, and stripped-down singer-songwriter material, reflecting an artist unwilling to be confined to a single genre or band.
