Aerosmith

Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970, long nicknamed the Bad Boys from Boston. The classic lineup — Steven Tyler on vocals, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford on guitars, Tom Hamilton on bass, and Joey Kramer on drums — built their sound on a blues-based hard rock foundation heavily influenced by acts like the Rolling Stones, fusing swaggering riffs with Tyler's distinctive, high-register vocal style.

Their 1973 self-titled debut introduced «Dream On», one of the band's most enduring songs, and subsequent albums through the mid-1970s, including Toys in the Attic and Rocks, cemented them as one of the era's defining hard rock acts with tracks like «Sweet Emotion» and «Walk This Way». After a turbulent period marked by lineup changes and substance abuse struggles in the late 1970s and early 1980s, the classic lineup reunited and staged one of rock's most celebrated comebacks.

Their collaboration with Run-D.M.C. on a 1986 remake of «Walk This Way» became a landmark moment bridging rock and hip-hop, reintroducing Aerosmith to a new generation. The band went on to massive commercial success in the late 1980s and 1990s with hits including «Love in an Elevator», «Dude (Looks Like a Lady)», «Cryin'», and the chart-topping ballad «I Don't Want to Miss a Thing», cementing their status as one of the best-selling rock bands of all time.
