Adventures

Adventures were an American rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, active in the early-to-mid 2010s. The project was founded by Reba Meyers, Joe Goldman, and Jami Morgan, all members of the hardcore band Code Orange (originally known as Code Orange Kids), together with Kimi Hanauer and Dominic Landolina, the latter of whom later joined Code Orange himself. This overlap gave Adventures a distinct identity: musicians rooted in an aggressive hardcore scene channeling a much softer, more melodic sensibility.

Musically, Adventures moved away from the heaviness of Code Orange toward dreamy, shoegaze-influenced indie rock and pop, built around washed-out guitars, hazy production, and gentle vocal melodies. Songs such as «Heavenly», «Dream Blue Haze», and «Your Sweetness» reflect this atmospheric, introspective approach, offering a contrast to the members' main band while still carrying an emotional intensity.

The band released several EPs before issuing their only full-length album, Supersonic Home, in 2015 through Run for Cover Records, having initially been signed to No Sleep Records. Adventures remains a notable side project in the story of Code Orange, illustrating the range of its members beyond hardcore and metal.
