About the artist

Acceptance are an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in the early 2000s. Fronted by vocalist Jason Vena alongside guitarist Christian McAlhaney, the band became known for melodic, emotionally direct rock that bridged the emo and post-hardcore scenes of the era with a more radio-friendly alternative rock sensibility.

Their 2005 debut album «Phantoms» earned a dedicated following for its polished production and anthemic songwriting, with tracks like «So Contagious» becoming fan favorites. Shortly after its release, the band went on hiatus and largely disbanded, but the songs continued to circulate and gain new listeners over the following decade.

Acceptance reunited in the mid-2010s, releasing new music including the album «Colliding by Design» (2017), which continued their melodic rock approach while reflecting a more mature sound. The band has continued to perform and release music intermittently since then, remaining a respected name among fans of mid-2000s emo-adjacent rock.
