Letra y traducción
[Verse 1]
[Verso 1]
They've been sayin' you're sophisticated
Dicen que eres sofisticada
They're complainin', overeducated
Se quejan, que eres demasiado educada
You are sayin' all the words I'm dreamin'
Dices todas las palabras que sueño
Say it after me
Repítelo después de mí
Say it after me
Repítelo después de mí
[Verse 2]
[Verso 2]
They will blame us, crucify and shame us
Nos culparán, nos crucificarán y nos avergonzarán
We can't help it if we are a problem
No podemos evitarlo si somos un problema
We are tryin' hard to get your attention
Estamos intentando con fuerza captar tu atención
I'm climbin' up your wall
Estoy trepando tu muro
Climbin' up your wall
Trepando tu muro
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Don't go there 'cause you'll never return
No vayas ahí porque nunca volverás
I know you think of me when you think of her
But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard
To do the right thing but without recompense
Por hacer lo correcto pero sin recompensa
And then you did somethin' wrong and you said it was great
And now you don't know how you could ever complain
Y ahora no sabes cómo podrías quejarte jamás
Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to
But then you want me to do it the same as you
[Instrumental Break]
[Interludio instrumental]
[Verse 3]
[Verso 3]
You were waitin' for the elevator
Esperabas el ascensor
You were sayin' all the words I'm dreamin'
Decías todas las palabras que sueño
No more askin' questions or excuses
No más preguntas ni excusas
The information's here
La información está aquí
Here and everywhere
Aquí y en todas partes
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Don't go there 'cause you'll never return
No vayas ahí porque nunca volverás
I know you think of me when you think of her
But then it don't make sense when you're tryin' hard
To do the right thing but without recompense
Por hacer lo correcto pero sin recompensa
And then you did somethin' wrong and you said it was great
And now you don't know how you could ever complain
Y ahora no sabes cómo podrías quejarte jamás
Because you're all confused 'cause you want me to
But then you want me to do it the same way as you, and but
[Bridge]
[Puente]
I don't, I don't want anything
No quiero, no quiero nada
I know it's not, it's not your fault
Sé que no es, no es culpa tuya
I don't want anyone
No quiero a nadie
Always I do, it's not for you
Siempre quiero, no es por ti
Ah, ooh
Ah, oh
[Outro]
[Outro]
Stockholders
Accionistas
Same shit, a different life
La misma mierda, una vida distinta
I'll get it right sometime
Lo haré bien en algún momento
Oh, maybe not tonight
Oh, tal vez esta noche no
Oh, maybe not tonight
Oh, tal vez esta noche no
Oh, maybe not tonight
Oh, tal vez esta noche no
Oh, maybe not tonight
Oh, tal vez esta noche no
Oh, maybe not tonight
Oh, tal vez esta noche no
[Spoken]
[Hablado]
Yeah, boy, here we go
Sí, chico, allá vamos
And a one, and a two, and a three
Y uno, y dos, y tres
Here we go friends (Hold on, I can't)
Vamos amigos (Espera, no puedo)
Maybe that's a kooky situation
Tal vez es una situación disparatada
So let's go back to the old key, old tempo, everything
Preguntas frecuentes
¿De qué trata "The Adults Are Talking"?
