Zella Day

Zella Day is an American singer-songwriter from Arizona, now based in Los Angeles. She first drew wider attention with a viral acoustic cover of The White Stripes' «Seven Nation Army», which helped launch her into the professional music world. In 2014 she released her debut single and self-titled EP, followed in 2015 by her debut album, «Kicker».

Day's sound blends indie folk, country twang and dreamy, modern pop production, often filtered through psychedelic and desert-rock textures that reflect her Arizona roots. Songs like «Hypnotic», «East of Eden» and «1965» showcase her breathy, distinctive vocal delivery paired with lush, atmospheric arrangements, placing her at the intersection of singer-songwriter tradition and contemporary indie-pop.
