WILLOW, born Willow Camille Reign Smith on October 31, 2000, is an American singer, songwriter and actress who launched her music career as a child, becoming one of the youngest artists signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. Her 2010 debut single «Whip My Hair» became a global hit, reaching the top of the Billboard Hot 100's upper tier and earning a Video of the Year nomination at the BET Awards, establishing her as a pop presence years before she began shaping her own artistic identity as a teenager and young adult.

As she matured, WILLOW moved decisively away from bubblegum pop toward a more exploratory sound spanning alt-R&B, neo-soul, pop-punk and rock, reflected across albums such as her self-titled 2019 record and songs like «Wait a Minute!», «t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l» and «Female Energy». She is also one half of the electronic-pop-punk duo THE ANXIETY with her close friend Tyler Cole, and comes from a prominent artistic family — she is the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and sister of the musician and actor Jaden Smith, with whom she has been creatively and label-affiliated through his MSFTS Music imprint.
