Will Wood is an American singer-songwriter and alt-comic known for a genre-hopping sound built around theatrical piano playing and lyrics that blend dark comedy with serious psychological and philosophical themes. His work resists easy categorization, drawing on cabaret, rock, jazz, and pop influences within songs that often shift tone and style multiple times in a single track.

Wood released two studio albums under his solo name, The Normal Album and In case I Make It, following his earlier work as the frontman of Will Wood and the Tapeworms. He has also produced soundtrack work, including original songs for the podcast Camp Here & There: Campfire Songs Edition and a score for the video game Éalú, released on Steam in 2025, which he has described as a spiritual sequel to his song «Tomcat Disposables».

Beyond his studio releases, Wood is known for blurring the line between concert and stand-up performance, alternating between high-energy full-band rock shows and more intimate solo sets that mix storytelling, comedy, and stripped-down versions of his songs. This latter format produced Slouching Towards Branson, an audio release drawn from his concert film and stand-up special of the same name. He also released a live album, IN CASE I DIE, before stepping back from touring after a period of unexpected viral attention reshaped his previously underground following.
