VIDEOCLUB was a French synthpop duo formed by Adèle Castillon and Matthieu Reynaud. Blending glossy 80s-inspired synthesizers with French-language lyrics, the duo quickly built a following through singles like «SMS», «Roi» and «Amour plastique», showcasing their knack for catchy, romantic pop hooks wrapped in a retro-futurist sound.

Their sound sat at the intersection of nostalgic synthpop and contemporary French pop, evoking other artists exploring similar retro textures while carving out a distinctly youthful, cinematic identity. Songs such as «Enfance 80» and «Mai» leaned into themes of memory, youth and fleeting romance, set against warm analog-style production.

The duo released their only studio album, «Euphories», the definitive statement of their brief but influential run. VIDEOCLUB disbanded in 2021, after which both Castillon and Reynaud pursued separate solo careers, leaving behind a compact but beloved discography in French synthpop.
