Veronica Maggio

Veronica Maggio is a Swedish singer-songwriter who has become one of the most awarded pop artists in Sweden in the twenty-first century. She debuted with the single «Dumpa mig» in 2006, followed shortly by «Nöjd?», and was recognised as Newcomer of the Year at the Grammis awards in 2007. Her music blends Swedish-language pop with soulful, retro-tinged production, often built around confessional, sharply observed lyrics about relationships and everyday life.

Her breakthrough years came in the early 2010s, when songs like «17 år», «Satan i gatan» and «Häla huset» turned her into one of the defining voices of Swedish pop, earning her multiple Grammis and Rockbjörnen awards for best song, album and live artist. «Måndagsbarn» extended her reach beyond Sweden, charting and going gold in Denmark and gaining traction in Norway as well.
