Tori Kelly

Tori Kelly is an American singer-songwriter born in Wildomar, California, in 1992. She built her early following on YouTube as a teenager, posting cover videos before auditioning for American Idol at sixteen. After releasing independent EPs, she signed with Capitol Records and released her debut studio album, «Unbreakable Smile», in 2015, which reached number two on the Billboard 200 and produced hits like «Nobody Love» and «Should’ve Been Us».

Kelly’s sound blends pop and R&B with a strong vocal-driven, soulful quality, and she has increasingly leaned into gospel and contemporary Christian music. Her 2018 album «Hiding Place» marked a turn toward gospel, earning her two Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song. She followed it with «Inspired by True Events» in 2019, featuring singles such as «Change Your Mind» and «Sorry Would Go a Long Way».

Known for her powerful, agile voice, Kelly has collaborated with artists across genres and contributed to film soundtracks, including songs like «Don’t You Worry ’Bout a Thing» and «Hallelujah». She remains a distinctive voice bridging mainstream pop and faith-based music.
