The Vamps

The Vamps are a British pop-rock band formed in London, consisting of Brad Simpson, James McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans. The group came together after McVey, wanting to start a band, found Simpson through a cover video on YouTube, and the pair recruited Evans and Ball through social media and mutual friends. Their debut album, Meet The Vamps, arrived in 2014 and established their sound of guitar-driven, hook-heavy pop aimed squarely at a young fanbase.

The band built its reputation on catchy, radio-ready singles and high-profile collaborations, including «Somebody to You» with Demi Lovato and «Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)» with Shawn Mendes. As their career progressed, songs like «All Night» and «Middle of the Night» marked a shift toward a glossier, more dance-oriented pop sound, while «Hands» saw them team up with tourmate Sabrina Carpenter.

With a string of UK chart hits including «Can We Dance» and «Just My Type», The Vamps established themselves as one of Britain's most successful boy bands of the 2010s, balancing teen-pop appeal with genuine musicianship, since all four members write and play their own instruments.
