The Click Five

The Click Five were an American pop-rock band formed in Boston in the early 2000s, known for a bright, guitar-driven power-pop sound paired with matching suits and a retro-mod visual style that set them apart from other mid-2000s teen-pop acts. Signed to Lava/Atlantic Records, the band built their following through relentless touring and a knack for hooky, radio-ready choruses drawing on 1960s British Invasion pop as much as contemporary rock.

Their debut album introduced the band to a wide teen and young-adult audience, powered by a breakout single that became a staple of pop radio and helped the record chart strongly in its first week. The band toured extensively alongside major pop acts of the era, which broadened their fanbase well beyond the US, especially in Southeast Asia, where they retained a particularly devoted following even as their commercial fortunes cooled domestically.

Over a second and third album the group's sound matured somewhat while keeping its core power-pop identity, and lineup changes, including a new lead singer, marked their later years.
