The Brady Bunch

The Brady Bunch was the fictional family at the center of an American sitcom that ran on ABC from 1969 to 1974, following a blended family of six children and their parents. Beyond the show's enduring popularity in syndication, the cast — performed by the six young actors playing the Brady kids — branched into recording music, capitalizing on the show's family-friendly, wholesome image.

Starting with «Merry Christmas from the Brady Bunch» in 1970, the group released a string of bubblegum pop albums through the early 1970s, ending with the «Brady Bunch Phonographic Album» in 1973. The vocals across these releases were handled entirely by the six Brady children, while the actors playing the parental figures, Mike Brady, Carol Brady, and Alice Nelson, did not participate on record.

Musically, the group fits squarely within the bubblegum pop tradition of the era — bright, simple, and aimed at a young audience, with tracks like «It's A Sunshine Day», «Time to Change» and «Keep On» reflecting the sunny, optimistic tone associated with the show itself.
