The Blaze (FRA)

The Blaze is a French electronic music duo formed by cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric, based in Paris. The pair are known not only for their music but also for directing their own emotionally charged music videos, often depicting scenes of family, brotherhood, and cultural roots in the North African diaspora community of France. Their breakthrough came with the 2017 single «Territory», accompanied by a widely acclaimed short film that helped define the duo's visual identity from the start.

Musically, The Blaze blend deep house and downtempo electronic textures with soaring, emotive vocal hooks, creating a sound that feels cinematic and intimate at once. Their debut album, Dancehall, released in 2018, expanded on the atmosphere of their early EP and established them as a distinctive voice in contemporary electronic music, drawing comparisons to acts like Bon Iver and Justice for their genre-blurring approach.
