Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish DJ and production supergroup formed in 2008, made up of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, three of the country’s most successful house producers. The trio quickly became a driving force in the rise of mainstream electronic dance music, blending progressive house with big-room energy and anthemic melodies that translated equally well to festival stages and radio.

Their breakthrough singles, including «Miami 2 Ibiza» and «Don’t You Worry Child», helped define the EDM boom of the early 2010s and brought the Swedish house sound to a global pop audience. After releasing two mix albums and building one of dance music’s most influential live shows, the group announced their split in 2012 and played a farewell tour before disbanding in March 2013.

Five years later they reunited, closing out Ultra Music Festival in 2018 as a surprise guest before formally confirming their return at a press conference in Stockholm. A reunion tour followed, and in 2021 they released «It Gets Better», their first new music since «Don’t You Worry Child». Their debut studio album, Paradise Again, arrived in April 2022, cementing Swedish House Mafia’s status as one of dance music’s most enduring acts, with tracks like «Heaven Takes You Home», «Moth to a Flame» and «Lifetime» extending their catalog into a new era.
