Superfruit

Superfruit is the musical duo formed by Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying, two members of the a cappella group Pentatonix. Alongside their group work, the pair launched a joint YouTube channel that grew into a hub for comedy sketches, cover songs, and original music, building a large and devoted following independent of Pentatonix's fanbase.

Their sound blends pop, R&B, and light rap influences, often delivered with the polished vocal harmonies the two are known for from their a cappella background, but arranged with full instrumentation and studio production rather than voice-only arrangements. Early singles such as «Bad 4 Us» and «Sweet Life» introduced their solo identity, showcasing a playful, romantically candid songwriting style.

Their most notable release is the double EP «Future Friends», issued in two parts before being combined into a single album with bonus tracks. The project, along with tracks like «Imaginary Parties» and «Feeling Myself», cemented Superfruit as a distinct pop act exploring themes of identity, love, and self-expression, while also featuring guest collaborations such as Betty Who's «Beautiful».
