Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks, born Stephanie Lynn Nicks in Phoenix, Arizona in 1948, is one of rock's most distinctive voices, known for her raspy alto and mystical, poetic songwriting. She rose to fame after joining Fleetwood Mac in 1975, where she wrote and sang classics like «Rhiannon», «Dreams» and «Landslide», helping transform the band into one of the best-selling acts of the era. Her shawls, boots and swirling stage presence made her one of rock's defining visual icons.

Alongside her work with Fleetwood Mac, Nicks built an acclaimed solo career beginning with the 1981 album Bella Donna, which produced hits including «Stop Draggin' My Heart Around» (a duet with Tom Petty) and «Edge of Seventeen». Later solo work such as «Stand Back» and «Talk to Me» cemented her as a singular presence in pop-rock, blending folk-influenced songwriting with polished 1980s production.

Nicks has been recognized as one of the great rock vocalists of her generation and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of Fleetwood Mac and, later, as a solo artist.
