Stephen Sanchez is an American singer-songwriter from El Dorado, California, whose music channels the romantic sweep of 1950s and 60s pop, drawing frequent comparisons to Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He first built an audience on TikTok by posting covers and original snippets, and that grassroots following helped propel his breakout single «Until I Found You» into a global hit, later amplified by a widely shared version featuring Em Beihold.

Before signing with Mercury Records and Universal Music, Sanchez had already released two independent EPs, «What Was, Not Now» and «Easy on My Eyes», which leaned into a gentler, folk-pop sound built around acoustic guitar and his warm, crooning vocal delivery. These early releases established the intimate, old-fashioned romanticism that would define his later work.

His debut studio album, «Angel Face», arrived in 2023 and expanded on the doo-wop-inflected sound of «Until I Found You» with a loose narrative concept following a character called the Troubadour.
