SOFI TUKKER is an American electropop duo formed in New York by Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, who met as students at Brown University. Their sound blends dance and house rhythms with bossa nova and Portuguese-language influences, a nod to Sophie's studies and travels in Brazil, layered with playful, unfiltered lyrics and an energetic live-show reputation.

The duo broke through with «Drinkee» in 2016, a track that earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. Their debut album «Treehouse», released in 2018, continued this momentum and was itself nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Songs like «Best Friend», «Purple Hat» and «Fuck They» became festival staples, cementing their reputation as a high-energy live act.
