Snow is a Canadian reggae and dancehall-influenced singer from Toronto, best known for his 1992 breakout single «Informer», a rapid-fire patois track that topped the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and became one of the best-selling reggae-inspired singles in history. The song's distinctive vocal delivery, blending Jamaican patois with pop sensibilities, made it a defining crossover hit of early-1990s dancehall.

His debut album, 12 Inches of Snow, capitalized on the single's success and featured additional tracks that continued his blend of reggae, pop, and R&B.
