Shreya Ghoshal

Shreya Ghoshal is an Indian playback singer from West Bengal, widely regarded as one of the most versatile and accomplished vocalists in Indian film music. She began singing as a child and rose to national prominence after winning the television talent show Sa Re Ga Ma in 2000 at age sixteen, which opened the door to a career in Bollywood playback singing.

Her breakthrough came in 2002 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Devdas, for which she recorded several songs including «Bairi Piya» and «Dola Re Dola», earning widespread critical acclaim and establishing her as a leading voice in Hindi cinema.
