Shafqat Amanat Ali

Shafqat Amanat Ali is a Pakistani vocalist trained in classical music, best known for blending Sufi, classical and pop-rock sensibilities across a career that spans both Pakistan and India. He first gained wide recognition as the lead singer of the fusion band Fuzon before establishing himself as a solo artist and one of South Asia's most respected voices.

His singing draws on classical raag foundations while remaining accessible to mainstream pop and film audiences, a combination heard in songs like «Tere Naina», «Bin Tere» and «Tu Hi Mera». He has also had a substantial career as a playback singer for Bollywood, lending his voice to soundtracks that showcase his range between devotional, romantic and rock-inflected material.
