Saint Levant - سانت ليڤانت

Saint Levant, born Marwan Abdelhamid, is a Palestinian, French, Algerian and Serbian artist whose life story is inseparable from his music. Born in Jerusalem, he spent his childhood in the Gaza Strip before his family was forced to flee to Jordan in 2007 amid civil conflict there, later moving to California, where he studied International Relations at UC Santa Barbara.

He rose to prominence through TikTok and Instagram, where early tracks like «Jerusalem Freestyle» and the widely streamed «Nirvana in Gaza» established his signature blend of rap, R&B and pop, often moving fluidly between English and Arabic. His music frequently weaves in his Palestinian identity and personal history, most explicitly on the project «From Gaza, With Love», released amid renewed war in Gaza and dedicated to raising awareness of the situation there.

Songs like «Very Few Friends», «DO YOU LOVE ME? - سنيورة» and «KALAMANTINA - كلمنتينا» showcase his melodic, genre-blending sensibility, which draws on Arabic musical traditions alongside contemporary R&B and pop production, making him one of the most visible young Palestinian artists on the global stage.
