RÜFÜS DU SOL

RÜFÜS DU SOL are an Australian indie dance band formed in Sydney, made up of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jamie Hunt and Jon George. Their sound blends atmospheric synths, deep house grooves and Lindqvist's emotive falsetto vocals, sitting at the crossroads of electronic music and alternative rock. The trio built their reputation through hypnotic, slow-building productions that reward headphone listening as much as festival main stages.

Their debut album Atlas topped the Australian charts in 2013, and 2016's Bloom expanded their audience internationally, prompting the name change from RÜFÜS to RÜFÜS DU SOL outside Australia due to a trademark conflict. The single «Innerbloom» became a defining track of the era, later remixed by artists like Lane 8. Solace followed in 2018 and Surrender in 2021, each cementing their status as one of dance music's most consistent live acts.

In 2024 they released Inhale / Exhale, extending a run of albums that chart internationally while keeping their signature blend of introspective songwriting and club-ready production. Known for immersive live shows and a devoted global fanbase, RÜFÜS DU SOL remain one of Australia's most successful electronic exports.
