Rudimental

Rudimental are an English drum and bass and dance-pop collective from London, formed by producers and songwriters Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Locksmith. The group built their sound around a fusion of drum and bass energy with soulful vocals, live instrumentation and pop songcraft, standing out from more purist electronic acts by treating each track like a full band production rather than a strictly DJ-driven set.

They broke into the mainstream with the chart-topping single Feel the Love, featuring vocalist John Newman, which introduced their formula of pairing euphoric, bass-driven production with guest vocalists drawn from soul and pop backgrounds. Follow-up hits like Waiting All Night, also a UK number one, cemented their reputation for anthemic, festival-ready tracks built around big vocal hooks.

Rudimental have continued to work extensively with a rotating cast of collaborators, bringing a communal, feature-heavy approach to their records that mirrors their live shows, often expanded with a full band and horn section.
