Rossa

Rossa, born Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, is widely regarded as one of Indonesia's most celebrated pop vocalists, often referred to as the country's Queen of Pop. She began performing as a child and released her debut album at a remarkably young age, going on to become a major force in Indonesian pop music through the late 1990s and 2000s. Her powerful, soaring vocal style and command of romantic balladry helped define a generation of Indonesian love songs.

Her breakthrough came with the 1999 album «Tegar», which established her as a major star, and she continued to release commercially successful records throughout her career, becoming known for hits like «Terlanjur Cinta», «Ku Menunggu», and «Hati Yang Kau Sakiti». Her music sits at the intersection of pop and R&B, with occasional rock-tinged production, always centered on her expressive, technically accomplished voice.

Beyond Indonesia, Rossa has built a following across Southeast Asia and collaborated with artists from the wider region, reflecting her stature as one of the genre's most respected figures.
