Right Said Fred

Right Said Fred are an English pop duo formed by brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass in London, taking their name from a 1960s Bernard Cribbins novelty song. They emerged in the early 1990s with a distinctive image — shaved heads, bodybuilder-style physiques, and a self-aware sense of humor — that made them instantly recognizable on the era's pop charts.

Their breakthrough single, «I'm Too Sexy,» became a massive international hit, topping charts in numerous countries and giving them their only major US success. Built on a minimal, funky bassline and deadpan, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, the song became a defining novelty-pop anthem of the early 90s and has been widely sampled and referenced in film, TV, and other artists' music ever since.

Beyond their signature hit, the duo continued scoring UK chart successes with songs like «Deeply Dippy» and «Stand Up (For the Champions),» the latter becoming a popular sports anthem.
