Rachel Zegler is an American actress and singer who rose to international attention after being cast, while still a teenager and with no prior professional credits, as Maria in Steven Spielberg's 2021 film adaptation of West Side Story, a role that earned her a Golden Globe. She went on to appear in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and to headline Disney's live-action Snow White, cementing her position as one of the most prominent young performers to emerge from a movie musical in recent years.
