Quinn XCII

Quinn XCII is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter whose blend of pop, R&B, and hip-hop has made him a fixture of the alternative pop scene. He began releasing music under the name Quinn with the 2013 EP «Shlup», later rebranding as Quinn XCII — «XCII» being the Roman numeral for 92, his birth year — partly to avoid trademark conflicts, starting with the 2015 EP «Change of Scenery». He followed with the EP «Bloom» in 2016 before releasing his debut studio album, «The Story of Us», on September 15, 2017.

His sound is marked by warm, melodic hooks layered over laid-back, radio-friendly production, often blurring the line between rap and pop songwriting. A key part of his creative identity has been his long-running collaboration with producer ayokay, who has produced many of his tracks and with whom he co-created the hit «Kings of Summer». This partnership helped define the breezy, feel-good aesthetic associated with his music.

In 2018, Quinn XCII signed with Visionary Music Group, an independent label whose roster has included artists like Logic, Jon Bellion, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker, and ayokay himself, placing him within a close-knit community of genre-blending pop and hip-hop artists. Songs such as «Straightjacket», «Flare Guns», and «Always Been You» rank among his best-known releases, showcasing his knack for hooky, emotionally direct songwriting that has earned him a dedicated fanbase.
