Quevedo, born Pedro Domínguez Quevedo on December 7, 2001, is a Spanish singer and rapper from the Canary Islands who has become one of the most prominent voices in the modern reggaetón and urban Latin scene. Raised in Gran Canaria after spending his early childhood in Brazil, he began releasing music in 2020 as part of a wave of young Canarian artists blending trap, reggaetón, and R&B influences. His breakthrough came with «Cayó La Noche (Remix)» in early 2022, a collaborative track that turned him into a national name in Spain almost overnight.

Quevedo's defining moment arrived in July 2022 with «Quevedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52», widely known as «Quédate», produced with Argentine hitmaker Bizarrap. The song reached number one on Spotify's global chart, becoming one of the biggest Spanish-language hits of the year and introducing his melancholic, melodic flow to a worldwide audience. It cemented the signature style he is known for: introspective lyrics about love and loss delivered over minimal, bass-heavy reggaetón and trap production.

Following that success, Quevedo released a string of hit singles including «Sin Señal», «Vista Al Mar», «Punto G», and «Playa Del Inglés», before dropping his debut studio album. He remains closely tied to the Canarian urban music scene that shaped his early sound, and his work is often cited as part of a new generation redefining Spanish-language reggaetón with a softer, more emotional register.
