Porter Robinson

Porter Robinson is an American electronic musician, producer and singer-songwriter from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He first gained attention in the early 2010s within the complextro scene, a dense, aggressive strain of electro house he helped popularize with releases like his Spitfire EP. As his profile grew he moved decisively away from festival-oriented dance music, crafting the 2014 album Worlds, a lush, melodic record steeped in anime and video-game aesthetics that became a touchstone for a new generation of producers blending nostalgia with electronic textures.

Robinson is equally known for his collaborations, including the 2016 single «Shelter» with fellow producer Madeon, a joint effort that led to an extensive world tour culminating at Coachella. He also contributed vocals to Zedd's «Clarity» and has remixed artists ranging from Lady Gaga to Innerpartysystem.
