Plan B

Plan B is a Puerto Rican reggaetón duo formed by cousins Chencho and Maldy, who grew up in Bayamón and began performing together in the late 1990s. They became one of the defining acts of the genre's mainstream explosion in the 2000s, known for blending explicit, sensual lyrical content with catchy, dembow-driven production.

Their breakthrough came with the album Love and Sex, which spawned hits like «Fanática Sensual» and its remix, cementing their reputation for provocative themes delivered over irresistible rhythms. Tracks such as «Es Un Secreto», «Ella Fuma» and «¿Por Qué Te Demoras?» further showcased their ability to merge street-level reggaetón with radio-friendly hooks, later expanding their palette to include pop and Latin urban crossover sounds.

After a period apart during which each member pursued solo work, Plan B remains one of the most recognizable duos in reggaetón history, credited with helping push the genre toward mainstream Latin pop while retaining its raw, party-oriented roots.
