P-Square

P-Square are Nigerian twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, who grew up in Jos, Nigeria and became one of the most successful pop and R&B acts to emerge from West Africa in the 2000s and 2010s. Performing and dancing in perfect sync, the duo built their sound on Afropop rhythms fused with R&B melodies and later Afrobeats and dancehall influences, helping to push Nigerian pop music toward wider international recognition.

Their breakthrough came with hits like «No One Like You» and «Do Me», which became anthems across Africa, followed by the massive success of «Chop My Money», later remixed with American rapper Akon. The brothers were known for polished, high-energy music videos and stadium-filling live shows that made them one of the most bankable touring acts in Nigeria.

Over the years P-Square worked with a wide range of collaborators across Africa and internationally, cementing their status as pioneers of the modern Afropop wave. Even after periods of personal and professional tension between the brothers, their catalogue remains a foundational reference point for contemporary Nigerian pop music.
