NMIXX

NMIXX is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment, currently consisting of six members: Lily, Haewon, Bae, Jiwoo, Sullyoon and Kyujin (originally seven, with member Jinni departing before the group grew popular). They debuted in February 2022 with the single album AD MARE and its lead track «O.O», a song that abruptly shifts between contrasting genres within a single track — a style JYP branded «MIXXPOP».

That genre-blending, high-energy approach became the group's signature, distinguishing them from more conventional K-pop acts through unpredictable structural shifts, layered vocal arrangements and a mix of pop, R&B, electronic and rock textures. Early releases like «O.O» and «DICE» drew both criticism and curiosity for this experimental format, while later work such as «Blue Valentine» showed a more polished, melodic direction alongside continued genre versatility.

NMIXX has built a catalog spanning EPs like expérgo and singles across Korean and English versions, cultivating a reputation as one of the more sonically adventurous groups of JYP's post-2020 roster.
