Nio García

Nio García, born Luis Antonio Quiñones García on April 3, 1989, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a reggaeton and Latin trap artist who became one of the genre's most reliable hitmakers of the late 2010s. As a teenager he started out as a dancer before moving to the microphone, and in 2012 he joined DJ Nelson's Flow Music imprint, a label central to the modern reggaeton movement. His breakthrough came with «Te Boté», released in 2017, whose remix featuring Casper Mágico, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Darell and Ñengo Flow became a landmark of the genre and one of the most streamed Latin songs of its era.

García's sound blends melodic reggaeton hooks with trap-influenced production, and he has built his career largely through remix culture and collaboration, appearing on tracks like «La Jeepeta (Remix)», «AM Remix» and «Travesuras (Remix)» alongside many of urban Latin music's biggest names. Rather than positioning himself as a lone superstar, he has thrived as a connector figure, frequently guesting on other artists' singles.

His work helped define the commercial sound of reggaeton in the streaming era, marked by radio-friendly hooks laid over dembow rhythms. He remains an active presence in the Puerto Rican urban music scene.
