About the artist

Nikolija Jovanović, known simply as Nikolija, is a Serbian pop singer who first drew public attention as the daughter of folk singer Vesna Zmijanac before establishing her own career. She launched her music career in 2013 with the single «Ćao, Zdravo», recorded with Teča, and quickly gained wider recognition through collaborative hits such as «Alkohola Litar» with the group Elitni Odredi, along with singles «Kako Posle Mene» and «Opasna Igra».

Her sound sits at the intersection of pop, rap and R&B, blending smooth vocal melodies with contemporary urban production, a combination that has made her a distinctive voice in the Serbian and wider regional pop scene. She released her debut album, «No 1», in October 2016 through City Records, followed by a run of successful singles including «Loš Momak» (2017) and «Nema Limita» (2018).

In April 2019, Nikolija released her second album, «Yin & Yang», through IDJTunes, further cementing her place among the leading pop artists of the Balkan music scene. Tracks like «MDMA», «Harizma», «Viski» and «Milo Moje» showcase her ability to move between confident, club-ready anthems and more intimate, emotionally direct songs, a versatility that has kept her a consistent presence on regional charts.
