Nico & Vinz

Nico & Vinz are a Norwegian duo formed by Nicolay Sereba and Vincent Dery, who each trace their roots to different African countries — Sereba to Sierra Leone and Dery to Ghana and Cameroon. The pair grew up together in Oslo, Norway, and began making music as teenagers under the name Envy before rebranding as Nico & Vinz.

The duo broke through internationally with «Am I Wrong», a warm, percussion-driven pop-soul track that topped charts across Europe and became a global hit in 2014, blending African rhythmic influences with contemporary pop and R&B songwriting. Their sound is marked by acoustic-leaning production, gospel-tinged vocal harmonies, and uplifting, motivational lyrics.

Following their debut success, they released further singles such as «That's How You Know» (featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha) and «In Your Arms», continuing to work at the intersection of pop, R&B, and world-influenced songwriting.
