Netta, full name Netta Barzilai, is an Israeli singer, songwriter and looping artist who rose to international fame after winning Eurovision Song Contest 2018 for Israel with her song «Toy», a bold, playful anthem that combined chicken-clucking vocal loops with an empowerment message. The win marked Israel's fourth Eurovision victory and turned Netta into an instant global pop figure.

Before Eurovision, Netta won the fifth season of the Israeli talent show HaKokhav HaBa (Rising Star), which earned her the right to represent her country. Her live-looping technique, where she builds layered vocal arrangements in real time using a loop pedal, has become a signature part of her performances and sets her apart from more conventional pop vocalists.

Following «Toy», she released further singles such as «Bassa Sababa», «Cuckoo», «Nana Banana» and «Ricki Lake», continuing to blend quirky, high-energy pop with electronic production.
