Morissette, born Johanne Morissette Daug Amon on June 2, 1996, in Cebu City, is a Filipina singer widely regarded as one of the most powerful vocalists in contemporary OPM (Original Pilipino Music). She first gained national attention as runner-up on TV5's Star Factor at age 14 and later competed on The Voice of the Philippines, joining Sarah Geronimo's team, before signing with Star Music and releasing her self-titled debut album in 2015.

Known for her exceptional vocal range, powerful belting, and signature whistle register, Morissette became a fixture on ABS-CBN's variety show ASAP, where she earned recognition as one of its «Birit Queens» for her ability to deliver show-stopping vocal runs.
