Mora, born Gabriel Armando Mora Quintero in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1996, emerged from the SoundCloud-driven wave of Latin trap alongside artists like Eladio Carrión, Brray and Joyce Santana. His breakout track «Pensabas», released in late 2017 and co-produced by him, spread organically online before he signed with Rimas Entertainment, the label built around Bad Bunny.

Mora’s profile grew substantially in 2020 through his contributions to Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG, where he sang on «Una Vez» and co-wrote intros and hooks for tracks including «La Difícil» and «Soliá», cementing his reputation as both a performer and a behind-the-scenes songwriter within the Rimas camp. His distinctive high, dense vocal tone has become a recognizable signature across his catalog.

While trap remains his core genre, Mora’s music regularly folds in reggaetón and R&B influences, reflecting the broader stylistic fluidity of the modern Puerto Rican urban scene.
