Molly Sandén

Molly Sandén is a Swedish singer born in Huddinge, near Stockholm, on July 3, 1992, who has been recognized as one of Scandinavia's most prominent pop voices for much of her career. She showed vocal talent from a very young age and rose to wider fame as a child performer before establishing herself as an adult pop artist with a powerful, soulful voice often compared to divas such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, whom she has named among her key influences.

After working with major labels including Warner Music and EMI, Sandén made the notable decision in 2014 to start her own label and release music independently, scoring a major hit with the self-penned single «Freak», which reached number one on iTunes.
