Moira Dela Torre

Moira Dela Torre is a Filipino singer-songwriter who rose to prominence after appearing on The Voice Philippines. She built her reputation on emotionally direct, confessional songwriting and warm, understated vocals, quickly becoming one of the leading voices in the resurgence of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) ballads during the late 2010s.

She began writing songs as a teenager, using music as an outlet during a difficult period involving an eating disorder and bullying. Her breakthrough came in 2017 when she won the Himig Handog songwriting competition with «Titibo-Tibo», followed by her debut album Malaya in 2018, which showcased her ability to pair simple, piano-driven arrangements with lyrics about love, loss and self-acceptance. She also gained wide recognition for penning and performing commercial jingles that became hits in their own right, such as «Hooray for Today» and «Signature of Love».

Beyond her recording career, Dela Torre has become known for hit duets and soundtrack contributions, including «Ikaw at Ako» and «Tagpuan», the latter tied to a sold-out concert of the same name at the Kia Theatre.
